Mrs. Miller spent sixteen years in the classroom before becoming the "media specialist" at Whitt Elementary when it opened in 2001. 

She received her Master's of Library Science degree from the University of North Texas in 2005.

Her goals for the library include having all Whitt Stallions checking out  materials for their own reading pleasure and helping them become independent researchers.
